June 20, 2017 – (New York, NY) Paul Peck has joined Blackbird Presents as Partner and President of Live Production and Programming.
Peck is the Co-Founder and was previously the Chief Creative Officer of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Prior to that he was at Superfly Presents as a key member of the team that launched the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. He was also the creative force behind the SuperJam, Bonnaroo’s annual signature concert. He will work closely with Blackbird Presents’ CEO Keith Wortman, and will be based at the company’s global headquarters in New York City.
The appointment of Peck bolsters Blackbird’s industry leading status in working with music artists to create extraordinary concert events, festivals and film/television projects. “Paul’s history of creating special music experiences makes him the perfect fit for what we do at Blackbird,” says Blackbird CEO Keith Wortman. “I’m thrilled to have him join our growing team and lead our efforts across our shows, festivals, and original media content.”

As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, Peck oversaw the creation of one of Florida’s best live music experiences featuring over 80 artists, bands and DJs performing on five stages during the three-day event. Peck has a unique and powerful knack for curating unexpected, brilliantly produced artist collaborations, from his work on Bonnaroo’s SuperJam to the cross-genre mashups of Okeechobee’s PoWoW!. Peck also spent nearly 14 years at Superfly, the producer behind Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, where he was Director of Development & Production.
