Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats headlined two nights of incredible music at Blackbird Presents’ annual ‘Second Weekend At The Saenger’ concert series in New Orleans.
Friday, May 3rd, featured Foundation of Funk featuring founding members of The Meters, Zigaboo Modeliste and George Porter Jr., with special guests Ivan Neville, Tony Hall, and Anders Osborne. On Saturday, May 4th, Preservation Hall Jazz Band kicked off the evening, followed by a full set from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Both nights included very special guests.
Emeril Lagasse also prepared a pre-show reception for Gold Circle ticketholders both nights, which included a special acoustic set from Nathaniel Rateliff.
This is a Marigold Project Event. A portion of the proceeds from both shows went to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, The Send Me A Friend Foundation, and The Preservation Hall Foundation.
