Listen: Norah Jones Releases New Single ‘Wintertime’ With Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy
Norah Jones’s newest single “Wintertime” has arrived just in time for the first snowfall of the year (albeit, a bit early). The singer paired up with Jeff Tweedy, Wilco’s frontman, for this understated piano ditty – and we guarantee it’ll be swimming around your head for the rest of the day.
In a recent interview with EW, Jones revealed that she’s over this whole album cycle thing, so you won’t be hearing a fresh album from her very soon. With millions of album sales and a boatload of Grammys, wouldn’t you be too? Instead, Jones has undertaken a fresh approach to minting new music – one song at a time.
“Wintertime” is the forth single in her series of single releases, the rest of which you can stream here.
Norah Jones and her country outfit The Little Willies will perform at the upcoming Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw, January 12, 2019 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
