“Imagine” concert set for December in New York will celebrate the life and songs of the Beatle

When Eric Church released the vinyl version of his 2014 album The Outsiders, he included a special bonus song: his cover of the Beatles’ Abbey Road track “Come Together.” Next month, Church has the chance to perform that John Lennon composition live at a special concert in New York celebrating the music of the influential rock hero. Lennon would have turned 75 this past October 9th.

Dubbed “Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert,” the all-star show features a number of Nashville artists, from young guns Church and Chris Stapleton to outlaw icons Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson. Newly minted country singer Steven Tyler is also on the bill, along with Nashville residents Sheryl Crow and Peter Frampton.
