Jason Isbell is such a versatile songwriter and musician. He can shred hell on a Stratocaster, write tearful ballads, and sing like nobody’s business.

Back in 2015 we invited the Americana songwriter to share his guitar skills with a few thousand Lynyrd Skynyrd fans at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. He did not disappoint.

Armed with a Duesenberg semi-hollow body, Isbell performed the Skynyrd classic “I Know A Little” — and it is a sight to behold! Make sure to stick around until the end of the clip, because the Alabama-born singer employs some wicked slide guitar.
