Trombone Shorty

New Orleans native Trombone Shorty quickly became a mainstay of the local jazz scene before exploding onto the national stage supporting Lenny Kravitz on a massive tour with Aerosmith. It’s been hard to miss Shorty since, having performed around the globe with such legendary acts as U2, Green Day, Jeff Beck, and the Dave Matthews Band, to name a few! Since 2009, Trombone Shorty has performed with his band, Orleans Avenue, a boisterous funk/pop/hip-hop mix including musicians Mike Ballard on bass, Dan Oestreicher on baritone sax, Tim McFatter on tenor sax, Pete Murano on guitar and Joey Peebles on drums.  In addition to globe trotting touring, the band has performed for television shows like Conan, the Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live.
