Cyril Neville, John Medeski, Terence Higgins & More Join Ryan Adams: Exile On Bourbon St.
NEW ORLEANS, L.A. – May 2, 2018 – Blackbird Presents is proud to announce iconic singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will perform with New Orleans’ music royalty at Exile on Bourbon St., a once-in-a-lifetime concert event set to take place Saturday, May 5 at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre.
A legendary group of New Orleans musicians will join Adams and longtime Rolling Stones producer Don Was to perform one of the greatest albums in music history, Exile on Main St., in its entirety. The incredible lineup includes Cyril Neville (The Neville Brothers and The Meters), keyboard star John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood), horns master Mark Mullins (Bonerama), distinguished funk drummer Terence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass Band) and more.
With decades of acclaimed work to his credit, and accolades ranging from “one of the most elegant singer-songwriters of his generation” (The New York Times) to “one of the few truly great roots-rock troubadours left” (Entertainment Weekly), Ryan Adams performing this momentous double album is among the year’s most anticipated concert events. One of the most prolific and successful musician/producers of all time, Don Was is also known for his longstanding work with the Rolling Stones, stretching back to 1994’s Voodoo Lounge. In 2010, Was had the honor of producing and re-mixing the re-released version of Exile on Main St.
Keith Wortman is the Creator and Executive Producer of this concert event.
