Willie Nelson Announces New Album Of Sinatra Songs, ‘My Way’

Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra had a long, storied friendship. They even appeared in several space travel PSAs together! After weeks of teasing an impending new album on social media, Nelson has announced his next project, My Way, a record of Sinatra covers reinterpreted in a country context.

Rolling Stone Country reports that My Way was co-produced by Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings and features wistful string arrangements backing up Willie’s perfectly placed vocals and steady backing band. The 11-track record of Sinatra standards is Nelson’s second release of 2018, following April’s Last Man Standing.
